    “The Hot Rod Hobbies Shootout has quickly become one of the most prestigious electric off-road racing events in the U.S. Hosted by Jimmy Babcock’s Hot Rod Hobbies in Saugus, California, the event draws top U.S. and international drivers and racing teams for a week of intense competition. This year’s race served as an unofficial warm-up for the upcoming ROAR 1/10 Electric Offroad Championships also held at Hot Rod Hobbies in August. With a dry, blue-groove–type surface, racers were challenged by the fast, yet technical layout. Throughout practice, the triple jump along the back side of the track proved to be the most difficult jump on the track and had the potential to shape the outcome of the event.”... (read more)

    Joseph Quagraine Heads to XRay

    “Top Finnish driver Joseph Quagraine has been snapped up by XRAY in a special ‘until his own car is ready’ deal. It is unclear how long this deal is penned for, however Quagraine will be racing the 808 at the World warmup II next weekend as well as the main worlds in Charlotte, N.Carolina in September. Speaking to Neo-Buggy, JQ told us that development on the ‘JQ Products car’ is going well, but it isn’t quite ready to debut at such an important race as the Worlds.” ... (read more)

    The New Kyosho Inferno MP9

    Kyosho have released new pictures of a prototype MP9, scheduled to be released around the time of the IFMAR World Championship this year. While complete information about the new buggy isn't available yet, what we do know is the car is the first all-new design since the introduction of the MP5, and it's got a number of features that will ensure ultimate performance. The engine has been moved much farther forward for better balance a concept that first started with the Inferno 777 MP1. This allows much more aggressive performance, but unlike the MP1, the suspension geometry of the MP9 has been fully optimized through years of rigorous testing to take full advantage of the forward weight distribution.     MID44 Associated B44 Conversion Kit

    “Team Azarashi have announced that they have become the worldwide distributor for the new MID44 conversion set, available for Team Associated B44. Created by Olivier Langlet, the set is designed to make the car smoother to drive with the motor now mounted further forward and the batteries not so far to the rear.
